Members are
selected by a faculty council for meeting high standards of scholarship, community
service, leadership, and character. To be considered for NHS, students must
have and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or above. The leadership
criteria is based on the student’s participation in school and community
activities, and for service each student must show proof of community service
projects in which they have participated. Character is measured in terms of
integrity, behavior, ethics, and cooperation with students, faculty, and the
community. All members must exhibit
strength in all four areas.
Congratulations to all of these students and
their parents for all of their accomplishments and for receiving one of the
highest honors a high school student can receive.
