Hello, My name is Dorene Paisley. I am a country kid, living in the country all my life. I am married to Rich Paisley and have 3 kids. Tim is my oldest. He is married to Sarah and works at the Nebraska State Bank. They have one son. Josie is my middle and oldest daughter. She graduated from the University of Wyo with a teaching degree. She is married to Justin Ryan and lives in Wyo. My youngest is Diana, who is attending Chadron State College. Diana likes animals and playing sports.
I graduated from Chadron State College. I took a history class from Wayne State College, and enjoyed the new knowledge I learned. I teach 6th grade reading, math, social studies, 7th grade American History, and coach various sports.
Outside of school, Rich and I farm. We both enjoy the outdoors and work together on the farm. Riding horses is a favorite pastime of mine. I am a softy for animals, especially our dog, Boots. I also like to feed the cows, by hand, cattle cake. Crazy or not the other thing I like to do is run. I try to run every day.
I want to encourage all my students to be positive and work hard at all that they do so that when they look back, they may say, "I did the best I could."
