Required Immunizations for 7th Grade Students

ATTENTION PARENTS OF ALL STUDENTS ENTERING 7th GRADE

Recent legislation requires ALL students entering seventh grade receive certain booster immunizations for 2009-10! LB 464 requires every student entering seventh grade to have a booster immunization containing diphtheria and tetanus toxoids and an acellular pertussis vaccine which meets the containing diphtheria and tetanus toxoids and an acellular pertussis vaccine which meets the standards approved by the United States Public Health for such biological products, as such standards existed on January 1, 2009. This legislation will be effective for the 2009-10 school year.

Garden County Health Services administers the state required immunizations for students free-of-charge on a walk-in basis.
