This contest is open to all Nebraska K-12 schools, both public and private, with only three places awarded in each of the following divisions:
Grade K-4, Grades 5-8, and Grades 9-12.
Guidelines include the following:
- Students shall digitally capture, create, enhance, or draw the graphic image themselves as an original work.
- Students are permitted to create their image using a digital camera, image creation program, drawing tablet, or other digital device.
Ms. Lutz will receive official notification of her honor later this spring. Garden County High School will receive her medal which will be handed out at this spring's honors convocation. Sponsoring teachers and medal winners will be recognized at NETA's annual convention in Omaha, Nebraska, at its opening ceremonies on Thursday, April 29, 2010.
